Chukar

The Indian Chukar is a native of southern Eurasia. They were introduced to the United States from Pakistan and survive in a large portion of the central western United States. They were first introduced to Hawaii in 1923. They live in arid, rocky terrains and shows remarkable ingenuity in locating water in these environs.
