Sheep with Egret Friend

Cattle egrets co-exist in friendly cooperation with cattle, horses and, as seen in this photo, sheep. Egrets feed on insects disturbed by their partner cows, horses, sheep as the browse as well as insects on the animals themselves. It’s very common to see egrets in pastures in Hawaii sitting on top of a cow, riding along as a passenger. James Brennan Molokai Hawaii
